750-plus career wins.
29 years head baseball coach at F-S.
Currently in 6th year as head coach at Beech high school in Hendersonville, Tenn.
Ky. state baseball champs 1991 and final 4 appearance in 1999.
In 5 years at Beech, two of the five years the team has advanced to the sub-state.
60-plus kids have gone on to play college baseball.
7 former players have gone on to play professional baseball, with two still currently playing.
Johnny Vance-
Recently retired after 32 years of coaching and teaching for six schools including F-S, Glasgow, and Owensboro.
13 Years at F-S with Coach Shelton as F-S pitchers and catchers coach resulting in 7 region final appearances and 4 region titles.
1998 Western Kentucky Univeristy Hall of Fame inductee.
Played 1st. base and cather for Western Kentucky University.
Played 5 years forthe Pittsburgh Pirates
05,06,07,08 Vanderbilt University Baseball Camp instructor.
2009 upcoming season Beech High School pitching coach with Coach Shelton.
Coach Vance is very excited about working with Pearls and his ability to develope young pitchers of the future.

Currently in his 7th year as F-S asst. coach.
Played under Coach Shelton and Coach Vance for 3 yrs.
Played one year at Lindsey Wilson College.
Matt Wilhite-
Born 7/3/1981 to Max And Allison Wilhite.
Graduated F-S in 1999.

All State Honors 98,99
KY East-West All Stars 98,99
Member of 4 District Titles, 2 Region Titles, 1 State Sectional Title, and the 1999 KY State Final 4.
Played for Western Kentucky University 2000-2003
First Team All Conference 2002,2003
Sunbelt Pitcher of the Year 2003.
WKU All-Time Carrer Leader in Saves and Appearances.
Single Season Leader in Saves and Appearances.
Played for Los Angeles Angles organization from 2003-Present.

Brother to Late F-S and WKU Standout Player Michael Wilhite.

Former F-S softball pitcher. Has had a great deal of experience in softball pitching lessons.
